Patricia Mae Sylvester Obit

PATRICIA MAE SYLVESTER, 79, of Bay Lake Township, passed away on Dec. 26, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on Aug. 8, 1945 in Sandstone to Elmer and Eleanor (Rabe) Lindeen. Patricia married Dean Sylvester in Braham on Oct. 14, 1967.   Pat was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Deerwood. She enjoyed volunteering at the Mustard Seed in Deerwood.   Pat was a loving mother and her main joy was family. She also enjoyed living the lake life on Bay Lake. Preceding Pat in death are her parents; and three sisters, Marilyn Blum, Janet Nyline and Peg Johnson. Pat is survived by her husband Dean; her son, Chad (Kristine) Sylvester of South Haven; her daughter, Jill (Shannon) Martinson of Holdingford; one brother, John (Becky) Lindeen of Stanchfield; three sisters, Sherrie (Jack) Witte of Cambridge, Judy (Doug) Bratvold of Cambridge and Gail (Curt) Mowers of Crosslake; and five grandchildren, Ashley Junker, Kallie and Sam Sylvester, Erika Martinson and Erin Dembowski. A Memorial service will be held at noon Friday, Jan. 3 at the Salem Lutheran Church in Deerwood.  Burial will be at the Scandia Cemetery in Deerwood.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.  Memorials are preferred to the Salem Lutheran Church Outreach Program in lieu of flowers.   Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
