Lovell S. Baker Obit

LOVELL S. BAKER, 93, of Emily passed away on April 28, 2026. Lovell was born in Canton, SD, on July 15, 1932. He was the son of William and Lydia Baker. He is survived three siblings and was the father of two sons, Douglas and Brian Baker. He retired from the 3M corporation after a very successful career in business development and executive management. He loved the outdoors and had a passion for hunting, fishing and motor sports. He was a volunteer fireman for the Emily Fire Department and served on the board for the local phone company. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jane and son Brian. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Red Pine Restaurant in Emily on Tuesday, June 16, from noon to 4 p.m.
