Kevin Jay Wendorff Obit

KEVIN JAY WENDORFF, 62, of Crosby, passed away on Friday, Sept. 27, 2024. He graduated from St. Francis High School in 1980. His employment began as a cook at various restaurants, then at Temroc Metals and H & F Manufacturing as a machinist. He explored the commercial trucking industry which became his passion and turned into a lifetime career as an over-the-road truck driver. His last employer was J.R. Schugel of New Ulm. His faith in the Lord was strong and he enjoyed reading his Bible on and off the road. He also enjoyed playing guitar, cribbage, shooting pool, riding motorcycle and mechanical work. He is survived by his father and step-mother, Cyrus (Darlyne Ernst) Wendorff of Deerwood; his mother, Marian Wendorff of Crosby; two sons, Dusten Wendorff of Brainerd and Daniel (Jessica Giesselman) Wendorff of Fairbanks, AK; one brother, Ron (Scott Ruffing) Wendorff of Aitkin; one sister, Michele (Michael) Haas of Crosby; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12 at Peace Lutheran Church in Arlington. Visitation will begin two hours prior to the service. Burial at the Arlington Public Cemetery and a luncheon will follow the service. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
