Elizabeth Mary "Betsy" Jahr-Lang Obit

ELIZABETH MARY "BETSY" JAHR-LANG, peacefully passed to heaven on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024 at the age of 90 years. She was born Sept. 05, 1934 in St. Paul to Lily (Harris) and Orlando Jahr. She graduated from the Harding High School in 1952 and married Donald Lang on Aug 29, 1953. They bought their first home in 1961 in Oakdale,  where they lived 40 years and raised four children. She worked at 3M Company for 25 years before retiring to Island Lake. After her husband’s passing, she moved to Maplewood where she lived until her diminishing health brought her to live under the care of her daughter Jody and son-in-law Bill at their home in Deerwood. Loved ones that cleared the path are husband Don; son Mike; siblings: Dick, Kenny, Wally, Grace and Nancy. She is survived by her sister, Mabel Beane (Ray); daughters, Jody Bunio (Bill), & Kim Johnson; daughter-in-law, Shelly; three grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life/Afternoon Tea has been held. Memorials are preferred to Cuyuna Regional Medical Center’s HomeHealth/Hospice in Crosby. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
