Donald Joseph Stealy Obit

DONALD JOSEPH STEALY, 91 of Brainerd, formerly of Crosby, died on Aug. 2, 2020, at the Woodland Good Samaritan Village in Brainerd.
He was born on Dec. 27, 1928 in Newton, IA to Arthur and Helen (Kern) Stealy. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a retired owner of Stealy Towing and Crane Service. He was a founding member of the Crosby-Ironton Alcoholics Anonymous program and a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby.
He is survived by his wife Virginia; two sons, Clark (Belinda) Stealy of McGregor, Kevin (Ellen) Stealy of Brainerd; two daughters, Brenda Pickar of Staples and Lisa Stealy of Brainerd; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death are his parents; one sister, Charlotte Engelhaupt and three brothers, Eugene, Leo and Arthur Stealy; and foster parents, Charles and Mathilda Harris.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
