PHYLLIS MARTIN, 87, of North Oaks formerly of Crosby, died on Oct. 4, 2020, at her home.
Arrangements are pending with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.

LELA GOULD, 88, of Crosby, died on Oct. 2, 2020 at her home on Rabbit Lake.  She was born on Oct. 28, 1931 at her family home in Hayes, ND to Lee and Anna (Benedix) Wright.  Lela grew up in Kasson where she attended school.  After graduating, Lela attended college at Mankato State receiving a bachelor’s degree in education.  Lela was a grade school teacher for 44 years.  She moved to Crosby in 1971.  She began teaching at the Ironton Elementary School and later CRES. She retired from teaching in 1993 from the Crosby-Ironton School District.

CHRISTOPHER "CHRIS" CRIMMINS, 48, of Arroyo Grande, CA, formerly of Cottage Grove, passed away on Sept. 18, 2020.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Caroline Crimmins; brother, Joe and significant other.

RODNEY CHRIS JENSEN, 73 of Talala, OK passed away on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2020 at home.
He was born Sept. 4, 1947 in Windom to Bertha and Henry Jensen. The family moved to Crosby so his dad could go to work in the mines. Rod attended Franklin Grade School in Crosby and C-I High School, graduating with the class of 1965.
He was preceded in death by his mother Bertha Jensen Grub and father Henry Jensen, brother Richard Persson, daughter Robin Whitten and niece Anna Hanson.

ELSIE KATHERINE SKOFF, 86, of Mounds View, formerly of Eveleth, died at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park on Sept. 22, 2020. She was born Oct. 11, 1933 in Crosby to Marko and Ana (Adam) Butorac.
She graduated from Crosby-Ironton High School in 1951. She married John Skoff on Aug. 22, 1953 in Crosby at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
She was generous with her time and volunteered for Girl Scouts, the church guild and Meals on Wheels. She was employed as a bookkeeper at Paciotti’s Lumber, Siegel’s Furniture and White Drug.

BEVERLY ANN RODEN, 72,  of Emily and Monticello passed away peacefully Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2020. She was born July 12, 1948 in St. Cloud, the daughter of Leo and Edna Beumer.
On Nov. 23, 1967, Beverly Beumer was united in holy matrimony to the love of her life, Floyd Roden at St. Augusta Catholic Church in St. Augusta. God blessed their marriage with four children.

ROSE "SUSIE" OLSON, 86, died Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020.  She was born to Loren and Mary Hughes in Little Pine. She married Merlynd Olson and they raised nine children.    
She was preceded in death by her husband, Merlynd; daughter Julia; and two grandchildren.  
She is survived by eight children and their spouses: Bernard Olson, Leta  and Wayne Hartman, Valarie  and Todd Zinda, Brian Olson, Lael and Jeff Olson, Lucas, Julia Olson, Jennifer Olson, Vanessa Olson, and Patricia Olson; 17 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.  

John David Anderson Obit

JOHN DAVID ANDERSON, beloved husband and father, joined his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in heaven on Sept. 4, 2020, at the age of 87, while lovingly holding the hand of his daughter, Ellen.
He was born on May 25, 1933 to Levi and Tillie Anderson of Ironton.  He was a graduate of Crosby-Ironton High School.  He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota.  After college, he was an officer in the Air Force, stationed at Stead Air Force Base in Nevada.  

Florence Lubovich Obit

A Celebration of Life for Florence Lubovich will be held Saturday, Sept. 26 at 1:30 p.m. at the Bennettville Cemetery.
Please join the family for music and a picnic-style luncheon of her favorite foods following the service nearby at “the farm” where she grew up.
Please bring memories to share and a lawn chair.
