NANCY J. HAWKINS, 70, of Deerwood, passed away Friday, Oct. 25, 2019 in Cuyuna Regional Medical Center, Crosby.  She was born Feb. 23, 1949 in Aitkin to Damon and Florence (Duzan) Reynolds.  Nancy was united in marriage to Jim Hawkins on April 28, 1970 in Brainerd.  Nancy loved to scrapbook, crochet, crafts, going for rides, cooking, tending to her plants and especially spending time with her family.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Debbie Reynolds.

BERT "SKIP" JOHN ROOT JR., 89, of Kissimmee, Florida passed away on Oct. 12, 2019.
He is formerly of Crosby-Ironton and Wood-bury.
Skip is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Barbara Jean Root; father Bert John Root; mother Lottie Alice Shew; and five siblings.
He is survived by his loving children Deborah Olson (Bryan) and Gregory Root (Peggy); grandchildren Molly Pietruszewski (Rob) and Michael Root (Jenny); great grandchildren Michael and Parker Pietruszewski, Gunnar, Mitsue and Sonnee Root, Michael Hammond; sister Ida Anderson.

Cleone Yvonne McGillivray Obit

CLEONE YVONNE McGILLIVRAY, 80, died Oct. 14, 2019 in Deerwood. She was married to Russell Earl McGillivray.
She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church of Deerwood and volunteered at the Mustard Seed as well as various events at the church.
She is survived by Mona Lisa of Crosby and Monica and Bruce Williams of Elk River.
A Memorial Service will be Saturday, Oct. 26 at 11 a.m. at Salem Lutheran Church in Deerwood. McGillivray donated her body to the University of Minnesota.

MICHELLE "SHELLY" MARY MAE, 35, of Outing, died on Oct. 3, 2019.
She was born Nov. 15, 1983 in Anoka, to DeAnn Evanson and Donald Imgrund. She worked as a merchandiser for Driveline Retail Merchandising. She loved family, friendship and music. She was a loving and caring mother; her babies were her true passion in life.
 She is survived by her children, Michael Kroll, Dominick Kroll and Serenity Krebsbach; her parents, Donald Imgrund and DeAnne (Chris) Evanson; siblings, Sarah (Charlie) Young, Joseph Imgrund and Jonathon Larson; and many more friends and family.

DONALD THEODORE LENTZ, 67, of Crosby, died on Oct. 15, 2019 at Essentia St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd.  He was born on April 9, 1952 in Pipestone to Theodore and Agnes (Haraldson) Lentz.  
Preceding him in death are his parents and his wife, Kathleen (Motchenbacher) Lentz.

DAVID L. OLSON, 80, of Bay Lake Township, died at his home on October 1, 2019. He was born on Feb. 25, 1939 in Minneapolis to Leonard and Gulia (Magnolo) Olson.  He married Annette Olsen on July 11, 1959 in Minneapolis.
