Shauna LeeAnn Nyberg Obit

Shauna LeeAnn Nyberg passed away on Oct. 21, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Shauna was born July 25th, 1963 to Vada (Cole) and Russel Callison in Spokane, WA. She grew up with her five siblings Mike, Shannon, Shane, Sam, and Johnny. In 1968 Shauna and her family moved to Verndale. She spent many days riding horses with her childhood best friend, Roxanne and her sister Shannon. She enjoyed spending time at the lake and tubing down the river during the summer months. Shauna met the love of her life Ty Nyberg on April 15, 1983 where they proceed to date for four months before they got married on Aug. 20, 1983.  They spent the next 39 years building a life they loved. In those years they went on to have three children, Katie, Kalub and Kodi, and laid one daughter, Kelsey, to rest. In 2012 Shauna and Ty moved to Crosby, where they found the perfect home, to settle down in.    As a devoted wife, mother and grandma you could find Shauna spending weekends hosting family camping trips or watching her grandchildren riding dirt bike or four wheeling around their slice of paradise. She enjoyed journaling, sitting outside, music and tending to her flower beds and her plants. She also liked to gossip with her friends.  Most of all she loved spending time with her family. Shauna is proceeded in death by her parents Russel Callison and Vada Cole and daughter, Kelsey Nyberg. Shauna is survived by her husband, Ty Nyberg. her children Katie Barnum (Branden) of Battle Lake, Kalub (Kassandra) Nyberg of Crosby, Kodi Nyberg of Battle Lake, her siblings Mike Callison of Spokane, WA. Shannon Callison of Kettering, OH. Shane Callison of Fargo, ND. Sam Cole of Woodbury, and John (Mandy) Cole of Kalispell, MT., her grandchildren Carter Staab, Payton Fuller and Sutton Fuller, and many nephews and nieces.

Services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 12, 1 p.m. at the Ironton American Legion located at 232 Fourth Street in Ironton. Lunch
