Nolan Delano Morison Obit

NOLAN DELANO MORISON, 84, of Princeton, formerly of Deerwood, died on April 7, 2021 at the Health East St. John’s Hospital in Maplewood.  He was born in Irondale Township on March 6, 1937 to John and Selma (Ohrstrom) Morison.  Nolan married Bonnie Jo Lord on April 8, 1961 in Ironton. He was a member of the Crane Operator International Union of Operating Engineers Local 49 with over 25 years of service. He had a love for gardening, berry picking, and doing home maintenance with his John Deere equipment.
Preceding Nolan in death are his parents; two brothers, Percy and Maurice (Booker) Morison; and two sisters, Lyla Nordstrom and Evelyn Morison.
Nolan is survived by his wife Bonnie; one son, Scott R. Morison of Princeton; one daughter, Rhonda J. (Gilbert Brummer) Magnussen of Zimmerman; three sisters, Janine Willett of Deerwood, Lois Hoogland of Catawba, WI and Madora Flor of Brainerd; and one grandchild, Amber Magnussen of Minneapolis; and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 28 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.  Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby.  A visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday.
