Cheryl Marie Buchite Obit

CHERYL MARIE BUCHITE, 58, of Nisswa died on March 20, 2020 at her home.  She was born on May 9, 1961 in Pipestone to Norman and Colleen (Girard) Lange.  She graduated from Crosby-Ironton High School, class of 1979 and continued her education at Central Lakes College with  a Legal Secretary degree.  She married Neal Buchite, Sr. on Feb. 25, 1984 in Deerwood.  She was a former City of Ironton employee and a baker at Shaffer’s Food in Nisswa.
Preceding Cheryl in death are her father, Jack Lange; one brother, Tom Lange and a granddaughter, Monica Buchite.
Cheryl is survived by her husband Neal; four sons and daughters-in-law:  Brian and Suzy Buchite of Brainerd; Tim and Linda Buchite of Barrett; Neal “Chip” and Adel Buchite, Jr. of Pine River and Randy and Amy Buchite of Crosby; five daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Bob Portz of Nisswa; Melissa and Randy Herbote of Brainerd; Shelly and Tim Hice of Fort Ripley; Mary Buchite of Garrison and Angela and Ralph Nordick of Crosby; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Daniel and Esther Lange of Doon, IA; John and Kathy Lange of Little Falls; James  and Kelly Lange of Little Falls and David and Kris Lange of Minneapolis; forty-two grandchildren and twenty-eight great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 27 at the Bible Baptist Church in Crosby.  Burial will be at the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily.  
A visitation will be held on Friday at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Saturday one hour prior to the service.
